Tomorrow evening is the semiannual town meeting where I live, North Reading, Massachusetts. Everyone gathers in the high school auditorium to vote on matters of local governance.
In preparation for the budget discussions, I thought I’d take a look at the local property tax rates. The Massachusetts Department of Revenue keeps an online historical record of the rates for every municipality in the state.
